Hybrid Cables



General

Technical data of hybrid cables depends upon the cable material. US cables have different data from EU cables.

Particular differences include:

  • temperature range
  • cable diameter
  • bending radius
  • insulation material

Using cables configured by Kollmorgen is strongly recommended to avoid poor contact, incorrect pinout, and EMC problems.

Part number scheme

Since 2012 the "talking" Part Number Scheme helps with identifying the European cables.
Order codes for cables defined prior to 2012 and information for configuring cables can be found in the Accessories Manual.

Configured Hybrid Cables

Kollmorgen delivers mating connectors as well as configured cables in various lengths with mounted mating connectors.
The hybrid cables are specially designed for connecting Kollmorgen devices.
