Every now and then the question comes up as the inductance range the 6410 requires for stepper motor operation.   The answer is none.  The 6410 is not limited to a range of inductances.

The 6410 stepper drive has a patented 4-Phase PWM chopping which electronically controls the motor winding currents at 20 kHz frequency.  The combination of recirculating and non-recirculating current regulation eliminates high back emf with low ripple, which means that the circuit is independent of motor inductance.

Software for 6445, 5345, 5445, 5645, SC150 & SC450.

The fan on the 6445-001-N-N & 6445-0001-K-N is designed to run continuously.

If the fan stops it needs to be returned for repair.  If unit is left energized, it will damage a capacitor on the reset line.
