With KVB, recipe data will get lost when adding/removing tags or changing data types on tags (variables). The following procedure outlines how to save the data for use with the changed layout:

One of our customers has F503 fault.

Following is the customer's environment.

 

Drive : AKD-x01207

Motor : AKM53L

Input Voltage : VBUS 640

 

It happens more than 5200RPM,

It doesn't happen less than 5000RPM(Current 8~9Arms).

It's monitored that it happens when the current consistently flow more than 12Arms.

We wonder why F503 fault occurs.

If it's because of drive capacity, does changing to AKD-x02407 resolve the problem?

The General MODBUS TCP Master is selected for the driver and the target AKD IP Address is selected. This will need to match your target drive’s IP address. Port No. 502 is the standard port# for Modbus TCP.

This application note covers Homing Mode 17 in the AKD drive, how it works, and how to use it.

It is intended for use with AKD-P Motion Tasking drives and not with consideration for methods within KAS and the PCMM/PDMM platforms. Homing methods in the AKD-P require Service Position mode. If you are using a fieldbus master then homing methods will be mode and application dependent.

AKD-x2407 with 3x400V: Wc=110, Continuous power internal resistor=200

1. If Pbrems>110, do we need an external regen resistor?

2. Or, AKD-x2407 has 200W Continuous power internal resistor, so external regen resistor is required, when Pbrems>310 (=110+200) ?

Note: I don’t have EzWare Plus software or the HMI and no specifics on software revisions or HMI hardware revisions or models. I have no sample project.

The following is based on what worked and was learned through support.

If a data field is declared as 32 bit in the Maple and you are trying to read an AKD parameter or AKD BASIC variable, the Maple needs an offset of 1 from the WB Help starting address and also word swapping.
